I had a wonderful day yesterday visiting Mobilia Gallery in Cambridge with a friend of mine. I brought in a new group of jewelry designs to show the director and it was inspiring and motivating. She had sold a pair of my earrings on Friday so that was exciting as well. I'm now fired up to start some new designs that she advised me on. Between my friend Susan and Libby, I have ideas stirring around like a big yummy pot of soup. Here is one of the necklaces I made this week to show her, made with my beaded beads, labradorite, turquoise, carnelian, picasso beads and swarovski crystals.
It was nice to speak with you on the phone today when you called Mobilia. I hope we'll be seeing more of your new work! It would also be great to see more on your blog. I really enjoy posting my recent projects -- my friends and family always want to know about it, and it gives me a more concrete sense of everything I've accomplished or at least attempted.
